Costa Rica has a new Aids to Navigation network monitored by an AIS system developed by MSM

Published on Tuesday, 01 March of 2022

MSM has designed, manufactured and installed the new Aids to Navigation system implemented on the Costa Rican coast in order to guarantee safe navigation.

Several EBM20HV elastomer buoys and MCL250 self-contained LED lanterns make up part of this maritime signaling network, which also has several AIS units that will allow monitoring this Aids to Navigation network using the Global Netcom software. Thanks to this application developed by MSM, technicians will be able to analyze the state of the beaconing quickly and intuitively in this area.

Likewise, at MSM we believe that training is an essential tool for technicians and managers of an Aids to Navigation network to get the full potential of this equipment, that is the reason why we have also carried out a training action so that they can optimize the operation of these devices, in addition to know more about the new features.

We are very proud to contribute with our equipment to the maritime safety of Costa Rican waters.
