Last 1st July, the maritime sector celebrated the World Marine Aids to Navigation Day (WAtoN Day), an initiative promoted by the IALA that aims to raise awareness of the importance of AtoN equipment to establish a safe navigation network.
This year, under the slogan of “Marine Aids to Navigation, Sustainable Planet, Successful Voyages”, the WAtoN Day featured several events from different institutions and authorities, including the Webinar organized by the IALA, where various personalities linked to the navigation world took part to talk about their experience with the AtoNs.
At MSM, our team was celebrating this event outdoors, next to our facilities, with a lunch and gift delivery for all of our employees, a little present that recalled the LED marine lanterns design. We also did an audiovisual summary of the innovations that have been implemented in the equipment developed by MSM over a 15-year history. In addition, during this special day our CEO, Antonio Martínez, was participating in the Webinar organized by Hidrovía S.A. together with the IALA to celebrate the big event of the Aids to Navigation.
