Once again, the Port Authority of Las Palmas, has entrusted the MSM equipment for the beaconing of the “Prolongation Project of the Dam of Los Mármoles”, in the Port of Arrecife, Lanzarote.

The installation has been carried out satisfactorily, coinciding with the beginning of the New Year.

This supply includes a high technology LED rotating beacon, model MFR, which provides a stationary intensity of up to 59,000Cd with only 22W of consumption. The tower that hosts this lighthouse is our model MTP-S 100 of 10-metre height, made with a modular structure of hot-dip galvanized steel, covered with fibreglass and polyester plates, providing robustness and at the same time functionality.

The MFR equipment has a Remote Monitoring system via GSM, connected to the WEB Platform of Mediterráneo Señales Marítimas, in order to monitor the status of the beacon all along while receiving status, alarms and interacting with the beacon through a mobile telephone network.

From now on, sailors will benefit from the new AtoN with its total performance, both for its night range as well as its high daytime visibility.
