Last June, Mediterraneo Señales Marítimas executed the project of both day and night beaconing of the Lo Passador Bridge which connects the villages of Sant Jaume d’Enveja and Deltebre.
The bridge has a length of 250 meters and a width of 19.3 meters, so in addition to the buoys located on the river, a marking of the bridge structure was required. The difficulty of the work consisted on the installation of the Aids to Navigation. On the one side, strong winds, typical of the area, hindered the work of our engineers, who were obliged to perform their job from an articulated crane.
On the other side, the navaids installed could not break the architectural design, so they had to be manufactired in a fonctional way, but able to be ontegrated; in order to form an uniform whole.
The navigational aids installed are four units of our LED marine lantern model MBL 160 c/w GPS synchronization and their power supply systems, two units of customized port day marks in stainless steel and two more starboard ones, and two units of passive radar reflectors, every one arrayed all along the Bridge.
