Spain has great potential to become an international benchmark in Floating Offshore Wind. As leaders in R&D&i in the development of offshore wind we have the capacity to articulate a competitive market and generate a value chain, but for this it is necessary to speed up the development of a regulatory framework. For that reason, to advance in the constitution of a strategy for the development of floating offshore wind, the Offshore Wind Forum, an entity that arises from the Wind Energy Business Association of Spain, has launched a Manifesto for the Development of Offshore Wind Power in Spain. A Manifesto created as a meeting point for the agents involved in the sector, joining forces from institutions, companies, associations and experts.
MSM Offshore, as a manufacturer of complete beaconing systems for wind farms, has joined this initiative by signing the Manifesto, because we believe in the potential of Spain to implement offshore wind energy, an opportunity to commit to sustainable industrial development and promote the blue economy.
