The MCL360 family from Mediterráneo Señales Marítimas (MSM) grows with the addition of the MCL360N, a self-contained LED lantern specifically designed for marking wrecks and New Dangers, in compliance with IALA Recommendation R1001.

A reliable solution for critical situations

Wreck marking lanterns play a crucial role in maritime safety, providing temporary marking of unforeseen hazards that pose an immediate risk to navigation. These situations may include:

  • Shipwrecks
  • Sudden formation of sandbanks
  • Emerging or temporary obstacles requiring short-term marking until permanent solutions are implemented

The MCL360N ensures clear and highly visible signaling in these scenarios, using yellow and blue flashes, as recommended by international standards.

Key Features of the MCL360N

  • Specific marking of New Dangers (IALA R1001)
  • Two sizes available (M and L) with the same light range of up to 6 NM
  • Extended autonomy, up to 500 hours without solar charging (depending on model)
  • Advanced monitoring and remote control options, compatible with GSM, UHF, Satellite, IoT, AIS, and MODBUS
  • Modular and versatile design, adaptable to different operational needs

The MCL360N provides Port Authorities, maritime signalling agencies, and offshore operators with a key tool to respond quickly and effectively to New Dangers.
