IALA International Certification Courses
Level 2 – Technicians
MSM, as ATO (Accredited Training Organization) to teach IALA Level 2 International Certification Courses, has organized various courses since 2017, intended for technical professionals in Aids to Maritime Navigation.
This training, which had been took place as attendance-based-courses at our facilities until now, will be available through other means this year due to the global circumstances. Thus, the first online course with IALA Certification will be scheduled this year with the Hidrovía Academy (Argentina) and the Chilean Navy (DGTM).
Courses with MSM Certification
MSM Academy is MSM’s educational platform specialized in Aids to Navigation. Since its creation in 2020, it has promoted technical training in AtoN based on IALA-AISM Recommendations, both online and in person.
MSM Academy carries out customized Training Programs, ranging from the latest developments in the IALA Recommendations and Guidelines, beaconing projects, definition of each type of aids to navigation and their corresponding calculations (light range, leading lines , floating aids and moorings sets, power systems, etc.), optical measurements, evolution of the technology applied in the fields of Optics and Electronics, to Monitoring Systems, AIS Systems and Maritime Traffic Control Systems.
